NH Historical Society

- From 1894 to 1897 he served as the NH Historical Society
President. In 1907 he was made Chairman of the Building Committee and
was a devoted member of the organization for many years.
- The NH Historical Society building, a gift from Edward Tuck
of Paris, France, was built mainly in part to BAK acting as the middleman
between Mr. Tuck and the Society. He went overseas several times to
consult with Mr. Tuck regarding the building.
